Thang Pham received his Ph.D. with special distinction from EPFL (Switzerland) in 2017. His research focuses on discrete geometry, additive combinatorics, and geometric measure theory, as well as the interactions among these areas. Before joining Xidian University, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California San Diego and the University of Rochester, a senior researcher at ETH Zurich, and an Assistant Professor at VNU Hanoi. He joined Xidian University as a Distinguished Professor in January 2026. He has authored nearly 70 research papers published in leading journals, including the Journal of the London Mathematical Society, International Mathematics Research Notices, Discrete Analysis, Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Revista Matemática Iberoamericana, Indiana University Mathematics Journal, Mathematika, Journal of Functional Analysis, Mathematische Zeitschrift, Combinatorica, and SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics.
